Job description
We are seeking an Interventional Neurologist to support a locums coverage need in Illinois. The provider will deliver a combination of neurointerventional procedures, inpatient neurology coverage, and clinic services while working collaboratively with hospitalists, neurosurgery, and advanced practice providers.
Schedule
- 24-hour shifts
- 3 clinic days per week (12-hour clinic days with night call)
- Weekends: call coverage only, no clinic
- Minimum availability: 7 consecutive shifts preferred
- Estimated 21 shifts per month
- Perform neurointerventional and endovascular procedures
- Provide general neurology coverage
- Manage inpatient census of approximately 15 patients
- Handle consults, admissions, and ER cases
- Serve as primary call contact for transfer calls
- Collaborate with adult hospitalists and neurosurgery
- Serve as collaborating physician for APP agreements
- Board Certified in Neurology
- Active Illinois Medical License (required to apply)
- DEA and Illinois CSR
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Clean background
