Position Overview

A well-established multidisciplinary outpatient practice in New York is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologist with interest or experience in Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), concussion management, and Clinical Trials.

This is a clinic-based position focused on brain injury medicine within a collaborative environment. The incoming physician will work alongside psychiatrists, neuropsychologists, rehabilitation specialists, and other providers to deliver comprehensive neurological care.

Job Responsibilities

Clinical Care
Diagnose and manage neurological conditions, with emphasis on:
Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
Concussions and Post-Concussion Syndrome
Acquired brain injuries
Headaches and neurocognitive disorders
Perform neurological evaluations and treatment planning
Interpret neuroimaging and diagnostic studies
Prescribe and manage appropriate pharmacologic treatments
Provide return-to-work and functional assessments when appropriate
Collaborative & Research Role
Participate in clinical trials and research initiatives
Work in a multidisciplinary team setting
Contribute to treatment protocol development
Stay current with evidence-based neurological care standards

Qualifications

MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
Active or eligible for New York medical license
Clinical Trials experience preferred
Strong interest in Brain Injury Medicine
Excellent communication and patient-care skills

Working Hours

Monday – Friday | Day Shift | Outpatient | 8 Hours

Skills

• Strong clinical expertise in general neurology
• Experience diagnosing and managing:
• Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
• Concussions and Post-Concussion Syndrome
• Acquired brain injuries
• Headache disorders
• Cognitive and neurobehavioral conditions
• Ability to interpret neuroimaging and diagnostic studies (MRI, CT, EEG, EMG as applicable)
• Experience or familiarity with Clinical Trials protocols
• Knowledge of evidence-based treatment guidelines in brain injury medicine
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Strong documentation and case management skills
• Comfortable working in an outpatient clinical setting
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Ability to manage complex neurological cases independently
• Strong time-management and organizational skills
• Proficiency with EMR systems
