Coverage Dates: May 28, 2026 at 8:00 AM – June 1, 2026 at 8:00 AM and December 21, 2026 at 8:00 AM – December 28, 2026 at 8:00 AM
Weekend Coverage: Required
Call Requirement: 24-hour call shifts
Board Certification: Required (Neurology)
License: Active IN medical license or IMLC
Patients Per Shift: 8–10
Support Services Available: Lab onsite and X-Ray onsite
Position Overview:
A facility in South Bend, Indiana is seeking a Board Certified Neurologist to provide inpatient locum tenens coverage. This position is a 100% inpatient role with 24-hour call responsibilities, supporting the neurology team to meet community needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient neurological consultations and management
- Respond to calls and evaluate neurological emergencies
- Perform neurological examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Document patient care in Epic EMR system
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams
- Ensure timely response to inpatient call coverage needs
