Neurology Locums Job in Michigan | Scheduled Hours + Call | January 1, 2026 – Ongoing
One of our partnering facilities is seeking Neurology locums coverage for specific dates beginning in March and ongoing in 2026. The client is needing candidates that are able to work in the Neurology clinic for up to 8+ hours each week, along with inpatient Neurology shifts and 24-hour call. This is an excellent opportunity to strengthen your general Neurology skills while serving a community with a strong need for Neurology care.
Are you available for any of the following shifts and hold an active Michigan license?
Open Shifts for 2026:
--March 2 8AM - March 6 8AM
--March 23 8AM - March 26 8AM
--April 27 8AM - May 2 8AM
--May 3 8AM - May 9 8AM
--May 25 8AM - May 29 8AM
--May 31 8AM - June 6 8AM
--June 22 8AM - June 26 8AM
--June 28 8AM - July 4 8AM
Shift Types (applies to all dates above):
--8:00 AM – 4:30 PM onsite coverage in hospital or clinic
--8 AM - 8 AM 24-hour call coverage daily
--Outpatient Appointments: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 1:00 PM–3:00 PM
--When no outpatient appointments, provider will cover hospital onsite
--Inpatient Call: 8:00 AM – 8:00 AM
Requirements:
--Board Certified in Neurology
--Active Michigan License
--Active DEA
--BLS and ACLS (Required)
--NIH Stroke Scale/tPA competency (Preferred)
--Clean malpractice background
Procedures Required:
--Radiologic Exam Interpretation
--Lumbar Puncture (Spinal Tap)
--EEG
--Brain Death Examination
--Evoked Potentials
Assignment and Facility Details:
--EMR: Cerner
--Average Volume: 6–8 patients per day
--Beds: 202
--Primary stroke center
--Level II Trauma Center
