We are seeking a Board Certified Neurologist for locum tenens coverage in Petoskey, Michigan, beginning March 2026, with multiple weekday and weekend call blocks available through July 2026.
Schedule & Coverage Details
Onsite Coverage:

8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Call Coverage:

Night Call: 4:30 PM – 8:00 AM

24-Hour Weekend Call
Clinic Regular Hours:

8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Outpatient Clinic Hours (during onsite shift):
-
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
(Appointments occur within the 8-hour onsite day)
When outpatient volume is light or not scheduled for the full shift, the provider is still expected to remain onsite and provide hospital coverage.

Brain Death Examination
Evoked Potentials
Credentialing & Compliance
Immunization Records Required for Clearance:
Hep B – vaccine series or immune titer
MMR – vaccine series or immune titer
Varicella – vaccine series or immune titer
Flu – current flu season
COVID documentation
TB – within the last 12 months
TDAP – within the last 10 years
Submission Requirements :
Board Certified in Neurology – REQUIRED (BE not accepted)
Active Michigan License – REQUIRED
Active DEA – REQUIRED
BLS & ACLS – REQUIRED
NIH Stroke Scale / tPA competency – PREFERRED
