Hospital is looking for a Neurologist for coverage starting in March 2026!
- 3/2/2026 8am - 4:30 pm onsite coverage 4:30pm - 8am night call 24hr Weekend Call 3/5/2026
- 3/23/2026 8am - 4:30 pm onsite coverage 4:30pm - 8am night call 24hr Weekend Call 3/27/2026
- 4/27/2026 8am - 4:30 pm onsite coverage 4:30pm - 8am night call 24hr Weekend Call 5/1/2026
- 5/3/2026 8am - 4:30 pm onsite coverage 4:30pm - 8am night call 24hr Weekend Call 5/8/2026
- 5/25/2026 8am - 4:30 pm onsite coverage 4:30pm - 8am night call 24hr Weekend Call 5/28/2026

- Clinic regular hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Outpatient Clinic Hours during shift:
- Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri — 1:00 PM–3:00 PM (these appointments occur within the 8-hr onsite day).
- Call coverage after hours.
- EEG reads inpatient and outpatient as needed. When there are no outpatients scheduled or if not for the entire time, the candidate will be expected to still provide onsite hospital coverage
- 6-8 patients per day
- EMR: Cerner
Procedures Required:
- Radiologic Exam Interpretation
- Lumbar Puncture (Spinal Tap)
- EEG
- Brain Death Examination
- Evoked Potentials
- Please note: immunizations records will be required for clearance from occupational health Hep B, MMR, Varicella - vaccine series or immune titer
- Flu - for current flu season
- Covid Documentation
- TB - within 12 months
- TDAP - adult vaccine (within the last 10 years)
Submission Requirements
All must be notated at time of name clear
- Board Certified in Neurology – [REQUIRED] (BE not accepted)
- Active Michigan license – [REQUIRED] at time of name clear
- Active DEA confirmation - [REQUIRED]
- BLS and ACLS certifications (NIH Stroke Scale/tPA competency [PREFERRED]
- Availability and preferred shift type clearly listed
