We are seeking a Board-Certified Neurology Physician for a full-time locum tenens neurology position in Jackson, Michigan. This opportunity is based in a well-established outpatient neurology clinic and is ideal for neurologists seeking a weekday-only schedule with no call and no weekends.
The position supports adult-focused neurology care with limited pediatric exposure and offers a collaborative practice environment alongside experienced neurologists and dedicated clinical support staff. This role is suitable for providers interested in locum, locum-to-perm, or permanent neurology opportunities in Michigan.
Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage neurological disorders
• Interpret radiologic imaging studies (unofficial reads)
• Perform and interpret EMG (electromyography) studies
• Administer botulinum toxin (Botox) for neurological indications
• Manage follow-up visits and continuity of care
• Collaborate with fellow neurologists and clinic support staff
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the EMR system
• Adhere to evidence-based neurology standards and clinical protocols
Qualifications
• Active Michigan medical license
• BLS certification
• Experience in outpatient neurology practice
• Ability to perform EMG studies and Botox administration
• Strong clinical judgment and patient-centered communication skills
• Availability for full-time weekday coverage
Working Hours
• Day shifts only
• Typical schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• No call responsibilities
• No weekend coverage
