Neurohospitalist Locums Job in Missouri | June and Ongoing
One of our partnering facilities is seeking 5-7 shifts per month of ongoing Neurohospitalist locums coverage, beginning in June. The client has both day and night shift open, each requiring 12 hours on site. The service is very busy and pay will reflect the workload! Please reach out to Mary to apply!
Details/Requirements:
--Shifts needed: 5-7 shifts per month
--Start: June and ongoing
--Shifts: Day on-site: 7am - 7pm OR night on-site: 7p-7a
--Stoke activations: 1-6 per day
--Patients per day: 10
--Calls per day: 15-20
--Procedures required: Thrombolytic therapy, EEG, tPA
--Requirements/skills: IR consult expertise, respond to ED/in-house stroke activations and other Neurology consults as needed
--Locums will cover tele-call overnight at a few hospitals within the system, will very low call volume
--Locums ability and willing to admit would be preferred
--Bed count: 650+ beds
--Support staff: 5 Physicians in group, 4 APPs
--Neuro unit has telemedicine support
--Level I Trauma Center
--Comprehensive Stroke Center
--Missouri license required
--Board Certified required
