Bon Secours Mercy Health – St. Elizabeth Youngstown is seeking Board-Certified Neurohospitalist to provide locum on-call coverage on an ongoing basis. This is a high-acuity, adult inpatient role at a Trauma Level I facility with strong APP support and EPIC EMR.

• Trauma Level: I

• Patient Population: Adults only

• Areas of Rounding: All adult floors

• ICU Beds: 20

• APP Coverage: Yes

• Supervision of Other Providers: No

• EMR: EPIC

Patient Volumes (Average per Day)

• Admissions: 9–10

• ICU: 10

• Emergency Department: 2–5

Required Procedures

• Radiologic exam interpretation (unofficial)

• EEG (Electroencephalogram)

• EMG (Electromyogram)

• Evoked potentials

• Brain death exam

• Dysphagia screening

Clinical Conditions Managed

• Autoimmune encephalitis

• Acute myasthenia gravis exacerbation

• Guillain-Barré syndrome

• Refractory epilepsy

• Meningitis

• Headache disorders

• Primary and secondary brain cancers

• Delirium

Credentialing

• Estimated timeframe: 60–90 days

Submission Requirements

• Board Certified in Neurology – Required

• Active Ohio medical license – Required

• BLS & ACLS – Required-- we can help with this if needed.

• COVID vaccine – Required (noted at time of name clear)

• Flu vaccine – Required at time of credentialing

• NPDB Self-Query Report dated within 30 days of presentation – Required
