Shift: 1 week per month (7 days)
Job Overview
We are seeking 1 locum neurohospitalist to provide on-call coverage for adult patients across hospital floors, ICU, and ED. This is a hospital-based role ideal for neurologists with strong inpatient and critical care experience.
Patient Volume

Admissions: 9-10 patients/day
-
ICU: 10 patients/day
-
ED: 2-5 patients/day

Areas of Rounding: All adult floors
ICU Beds: 20
Support Staff
-
APPs provide coverage for routine patient care

Locum will not supervise other providers
Documentation System: EPIC

Radiologic Exam Interpretation (Unofficial)
EEG (Electroencephalogram)
Brain Death Exam
EMG (Electromyogram)
Evoked Potentials
Dysphagia Screening
Treatments Managed:
Autoimmune Encephalitis
Acute Myasthenia Gravis Exacerbation
Guillain-Barre Syndrome
Refractory Epilepsy
Meningitis
Headache
Primary & Secondary Brain Cancers
Delirium
Qualifications
Estimated time: 60-90 days
Board Certification: Required
OH License: Required
BLS/ACLS: Required
COVID Vaccine: Required
Flu Vaccine: Required at credentialing
Self-Query NPDB Report: Required within 30 days of presentation
