- Other details: The facility which is stroke-certified is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours and beeper call if needed. This role includes telestroke call coverage split throughout the month, along with 24-hour neurology consult services providing unrestricted evening and overnight call coverage for general neurology (excluding stroke/TPA services). The average daily census consists of approximately 15 neurology consult patients, four to five telestroke consults, and four additional daily cases. The service also includes EEG and continuous EEG support within a comprehensive stroke program.

Job Responsibilities
* Manage telestroke call coverage as scheduled throughout the month.
* Evaluate and treat patients requiring neurological consultation, excluding stroke/TPA management.
* Interpret routine EEG and continuous EEG studies.
* Document all consults and recommendations accurately and in a timely manner.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support comprehensive stroke care.
Qualifications
* Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology.
* Eligible for hospital credentialing.
* Strong experience in inpatient neurology consultation services.
Working Hours
* 24-hour neurology consult call coverage, including evenings and overnight shifts.
* Average daily volume of approximately 15 neurology consults, four to five telestroke consults, and four additional daily cases.
Skills
* Proficiency in EEG and continuous EEG interpretation.
* Excellent communication and consultative abilities.
* Ability to manage high-volume consult services efficiently.
* Comfortable working independently in a call-based coverage model.
