Locums – Cincinnati, Ohio, Neurology Job (IMLC Accepted)

We are seeking a Board-Certified Neurologist for an inpatient-only locum assignment in Cincinnati, Ohio, covering an unexpected provider departure. This is a hospital-based role with strong on-site physician and APP support.

• Start: ASAP

• Duration: Through September/October 2026

• Practice Setting: Hospital

• Coverage Reason: Abrupt, unexpected provider departure

• Patient Population:

• 100% Adult

• 100% Inpatient

Average Census: 10–20+ patients per day

• Neurologists on Staff: 2 physicians

• Advanced Practice Providers: 3 APPs

• Other Neurologists Present During Assignment: Yes

• Onsite Services: Lab and X-Ray

• Inpatient neurology care

• Radiologic exam interpretation (unofficial)

• Thrombolytic therapy

• EEG (Electroencephalogram)

• EMG (Electromyogram)

• Brain death examinations

• EMR: Epic

• Board Certified Neurology – Required

• Active Ohio License – Required (IMLC Accepted)

• ACLS Certification – Required

• Long-term coverage need with stability through late 2026

• Strong physician and APP support structure

• Fully inpatient focus with no outpatient responsibilities

• Epic EMR in a well-established hospital system
