Position Overview:
Seeking a fellowship-trained, Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Epileptologist
Collaborative and inclusive model of care with a strong focus on patient experience
Personalized, coordinated epilepsy care using comprehensive diagnostic and treatment tools
Opportunities to pursue interests in education, research, and quality initiatives
Clinical Responsibilities:
Outpatient care for patients with epilepsy
EEG-related services including:
- Outpatient EEGs
- Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU)
- Long-Term Monitoring (LTM)
- Intracranial EEG services
Typical schedule:
- Approximately 50% clinic time
- Approximately 50% EEG services
- Ratios can be adjusted based on physician preference
About the Epilepsy Center:
Multidisciplinary, team-based epilepsy care model
Team includes:
- 8 Epileptologists
- 3 Neurosurgeons
- Advanced Practice Providers
- 2 Epilepsy Clinic Nurses
- Nurse Navigator
- Social Worker
- Neuropsychologist
- Psychiatrist
Strong collaboration with inpatient units, outpatient clinics, and EEG laboratories
Comprehensive behavioral health integration to support patients with seizure disorders
