Ongoing Inpatient Neurology Locum in Salisbury, Maryland- Open to IMLC Licensure!

TidalHealth Peninsula Regional is seeking a Board-Certified Neurologist for ongoing locum tenens inpatient coverage due to an unexpected vacancy. This is a Monday–Friday, daytime inpatient role with no outpatient responsibilities.

Assignment Highlights

• Start: ASAP (targeting March start with credentialing/ licensing)

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Coverage Type: Inpatient Neurology only
  

• Volume: ~10–15 patients per day

• Department Size: 29-bed unit

• EMR: Epic

• Stroke Certified Hospital: Yes

• Trauma Level: III
  

• Multiple Physicians Accepted: Yes

Clinical Responsibilities

• Inpatient neurology consultations and rounding

• Stroke and general neurology care

• Supervision of 1 APP (PA/NP)

• No admissions required

• No outpatient clinic duties

Requirements

• Board Certified Neurology (required)

• Active Maryland license OR IMLC eligibility

• BLS & ACLS required- we will help with obtaining life support certification if needed!

• Clean background preferred

Credentialing & Logistics

• Estimated credentialing: ~60 days

• Nearest Airports: SBY, BWI, DCA

• Lodging Recommendation: Hampton Inn – Salisbury
