🧠 Neurosurgery Locum Opportunity — Consistent 24/7 Coverage Needed!

📍 Minot, ND

✨ Join a well-supported Neurosurgery service providing high-quality inpatient and outpatient care in a hospital-based setting (Level II Trauma). This role offers 1 week per month of 24/7 call coverage, working alongside a collaborative clinical team and supporting a busy regional medical center.

🔍 Position Details

  • 👨‍⚕️ Profession: Physician — Neurosurgery

  • 🏥 Setting: Hospital | Inpatient & Outpatient | Level II Trauma

  • 📅 Schedule: 24/7 coverage for 1 week per month (ongoing)

  • ☎️ Call: Required during scheduled week

  • 👥 Team Support: Office Assistant + RN

  • 💻 EMR: Cerner

  • 📈 Daily Patient Volume: ~12–15

  • 🧠 Case Mix Includes (examples):

    • Compression fractures

    • Spinal infections

    • C-spine

    • Craniotomy for subdural hematoma

    • Additional cases discussed with Lead Neurosurgeon

✅ Requirements

  • Board Certified — American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS)

  • Able to manage both cranial and spine cases (details discussed at interview)
