Job Description:
We are looking for two General Neurologists to join our healthcare team in Northern New Hampshire. These are full-time outpatient roles (4 to 4.5 days per week), ideal for a physician who values community-focused care in a rural setting. You will work alongside a dedicated team to provide comprehensive care to patients with a range of neurological conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and manage conditions that may include:
o Migraine
o Memory loss
o Essential tremor
o Parkinson’s disease
o Cognitive impairment
o Dizziness
o Epilepsy
o Multiple sclerosis
o Polyneuropathy
o Headache
- Provide outpatient care for adolescents (16+) and adults, new and established.
- Collaborate with/refer to other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care (e.g., cardiology, orthopedics, pain management, pulmonology, sleep medicine, and therapy services).
- Medication management
- Education and counseling of patients and families
- Ordering diagnostic tests – available on-site!
- Interpret EEG studies, highly preferred.
- Perform and interpret NCS/EMG studies, highly preferred.
- Botox injections highly preferred.
Qualifications
Experience in general neurology 2-5 years preferred, but recent graduates with strong skills are welcome to apply
Comfortable working in a rural, CAH setting.
Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
Broad spectrum General Neurology – special clinical interests welcome!
Essential Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited Medical College with a Medical Degree
Successful completion of an approved residency by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, the American Osteopathic Association, or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
Board certified or eligible by NCH Medical Staff Bylaws.
BLS from the American Heart Association required.
