JOB OVERVIEW
• Job Title: Neurologist
• Job Type: Permanent – Full-Time
• Location: Blackfoot, ID
• Service Setting: Outpatient Neurology Clinic within a Non-Profit Critical Access Hospital
• Schedule: Flexible outpatient schedule with predictable clinic hours
PATIENT POPULATION & SCOPE
• Patient Demographics: Adults and Geriatrics; occasional adolescent patients as appropriate
• Average Daily Volume / Census: Steady outpatient neurology demand in a referral-rich region
• Consults & Follow-Ups: Outpatient consults and follow-up care coordinated with primary care and specialty teams
• Case Mix/Clinical Focus Areas: General neurology, headache, neuropathy, movement disorders, cognitive disorders, seizure management, and other common neurological conditions
FACILITY & TEAM DETAILS
• Beds in Department/Unit: Outpatient department located within a CAH medical campus
• EMR System: Efficient electronic medical record system supporting streamlined clinic workflows
• Specialty Backup: Access to primary care, imaging, pain management, orthopedics, rheumatology, and other specialties
• Support Staff: Dedicated outpatient neurology team, experienced nursing staff, and proactive administrative leadership
• Leadership & Reporting Structure: Reports to Medical Director or Chief Medical Officer
• Reason for Opening: Program growth and expansion of Neurology services
CREDENTIALING & COMPLIANCE
• Board Requirements: BC/BE in Neurology
• DEA & Certifications: Active DEA; BLS required
• Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 60–90 days
COMPENSATION & PERMANENT BENEFITS
• Base Salary: Nationally competitive salary with no-cap productivity bonuses
• Incentive Bonus Structure: Quality-based incentives available

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
• Board Status: BC/BE in Neurology
• State License Required: Eligibility for Idaho medical licensure
• Certifications: BLS required
• Experience: Outpatient Neurology experience preferred; new graduates welcome to apply
• Additional Requirements: EMR proficiency; strong communication skills; ability to provide patient-centered, team-based care

• Collaborate with primary care and specialty teams to deliver integrated, high-quality care
• Design clinic schedule to support preferred workflow and patient mix
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation
• Support quality initiatives and contribute to ongoing program development
