POSITION OVERVIEW
A well-established neurology practice in Central Illinois is seeking outpatient coverage for a flexible, three-day-per-week schedule. This role is ideal for a neurologist who enjoys predictable daytime hours, general neurology cases, and the stability of recurring weekday clinic blocks with no inpatient responsibilities.
Assignments are ongoing and well-suited for providers seeking a balanced, low-stress workflow.
SCOPE OF WORK
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Outpatient neurology visits
- Ongoing management of common neurologic conditions
- Review and interpretation of diagnostic results
- Coordination of follow-up care and recommendations
- Optional EMG work depending on provider skillset
Typical Case Mix Includes:
- Headache
- Neuropathy
- Parkinson’s and movement disorders
- Dementia and memory disorders
- Stroke follow-up
- Tremor
- Seizure management
- General neurologic evaluations
Practice Environment:
- Established outpatient neurology workflow
- Dedicated clinic support staff
- Access to standard neurodiagnostic tools
SCHEDULE & COMMITMENT
- Clinic Days: 3 days/week (Monday–Friday, flexible)
- Call: None
- Structure: Daytime outpatient only
- Duration: Ongoing coverage
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- Active state license or willingness to obtain
- Outpatient neurology experience
- Comfortable managing a broad general neurology panel
- EMG skills preferred (not required)
