Neurosurgery Locums Physician - North Carolina, Call-Only
Call-only Neurosurgery coverage needed in Burlington, North Carolina; one weekend/month plus select holiday blocks.
Highlights
- Call coverage only; 7a to 7a shifts
- 1 weekend/month + holiday weeks (March 27-April 5, etc.)
- No licensing support; NC license required
- 60-90 day credentialing
Practice Setting
- Inpatient hospital setting
- 5 neurosurgeons on staff
- EPIC EMR
- Part of a large regional health system
Schedule
- Call shifts: 7a-7a
- Weekends: Friday 7a to Monday 7a
- Holiday blocks: up to 10-day stretches
Cases and Procedures
- General neurosurgery, spine surgery, peripheral nerve, and brachial plexus cases
- Volume varies by shift
Requirements
- Board Certified in Neurological Surgery
- Active North Carolina license (not an IMLC state)
- DEA, ACLS required
