General Neurology Opportunity in Jackson, Tennessee
Join a well-established neurology team in a flexible, physician-friendly practice model at a respected 642-bed tertiary care center. With multiple practice structures available, a strong referral base, and excellent hospitalist support, this role offers work-life balance and long-term growth. General neurologists and subspecialists in epilepsy, movement disorders, or neurophysiology are all encouraged to apply.
Practice Overview
- You'll join a team of 5 neurologists, APPs, and a dedicated neurohospitalist
- Open to general and fellowship-trained neurologists; flexible to outpatient or traditional models
- High patient demand with 6+ week wait for new consults
- Capabilities include Botox, EEG, and EMG (not required)
Schedule
- Choose from 100% outpatient (no call) or traditional outpatient/inpatient with paid call
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM schedule
- Shared call rotation of 1:6 or 1:7 with low call-back burden
- Strong hospitalist partnership with streamlined ER protocols
Compensation & Benefits
- Year 1: $395,000-$450,000 based on experience
- Year 2: $300,000-$350,000 base + productivity incentives
- Year 3+: 100% productivity-based with earnings transparency
- Signing bonus ($40k), relocation assistance ($10k), and student loan repayment ($120k over 5 years)
- 4-6 weeks PTO, 1 week CME + $4,000, and full benefits including 403(b), 457(a), and 401(a)
Candidate Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible in Neurology
- Comfortable managing general neurology patients
- Interest in epilepsy, movement disorders, or neurophysiology welcomed but not required
- Team-oriented mindset with commitment to quality care
