Job description We are seeking a board certified or board eligible Neurologist with subspecialty expertise in Neonatology for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Illinois. This opportunity begins on Jan 14, 2026, with ongoing coverage required three days a week—Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday—during clinic hours from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. The assignment involves a broad range of neurology procedures and diagnostic evaluations in a clinic setting.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Interpret radiologic exams (unofficial)
  • Perform nerve and muscle biopsies
  • Conduct EEG, EMG, and NCV studies
  • Perform evoked potentials testing
  • Administer pain management procedures
  • Administer botulinum toxin (Botox)
  • Conduct sleep studies
  • Provide disability evaluations

Additional Information
  • Active Illinois medical license required
  • Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Board certification or eligibility in Neurology required
  • Temporary privileges are approved
