Position Summary
The facility is actively seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Inpatient Neurologist to join its expanding hospital-based neurology program in Hagerstown, MD.

This full-time, permanent role provides the ideal environment for a neurologist who values autonomy, team collaboration, and high-quality patient care. Candidates with strong inpatient training and a commitment to evidence-based practice are encouraged to apply.

Essential Position Responsibilities

  • Conduct inpatient neurological assessments and consultations.

  • Manage acute conditions such as stroke, seizure, neuroinflammatory disorders, and other emergent neurologic presentations.

  • Collaborate with hospital leadership, intensivists, and multidisciplinary teams for coordinated care.

  • Interpret EEGs, MRIs, CT scans, and other diagnostic studies.

  • Participate in structured rounds, case discussions, and quality initiatives.

  • Maintain clear and timely documentation in the EMR.

  • Contribute to ongoing clinical improvement programs and staff education.

Qualifications

  • Education: MD or DO from an accredited school.

  • Certification: Board Certified/Eligible in Neurology; eligible for Maryland licensure.

  • Experience: Prior inpatient experience preferred; new grads welcome.

  • Skills: Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and team collaboration skills.
