Job description

Job description The Neurologist will provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient neurological care as part of a collaborative, team-based environment. The role involves diagnosing, treating, and managing nervous system disorders while maintaining a strong commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, and compassionate care. The physician will also contribute to continuous improvement, teaching, and research initiatives aimed at advancing neurological services and patient outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused patient evaluations, including detailed neurological assessments.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of neurological conditions such as strokes, movement disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, brain and spinal cord injuries, sleep disorders, and infections.
• Order, interpret, and perform diagnostic tests including MRI, CT, EEG, EMG, and related studies.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management, physical therapy, and dietary recommendations.
• Provide hospital consultations, admissions, treatment plans, discharge summaries, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated, high-quality patient care.
• Participate in research initiatives and clinical studies to advance the field of neurology.
• Mentor and support junior physicians, residents, and other healthcare professionals as needed.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Neurology residency program.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology.
• Active and unrestricted medical license (or eligibility) in the practicing state.
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning.

Working Hours

Full-time schedule; may include hospital rounds, outpatient clinic hours, and on-call responsibilities as required.
