Position Summary

The facility is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurologist to join a collegial and multidisciplinary medical team in Bronx, NY .

This full-time opportunity offers a balanced schedule with a mix of inpatient consultations and outpatient clinic practice , with the flexibility to focus on outpatient care if preferred. Physicians will have the opportunity to participate in teaching and mentorship within an affiliated residency program.

Essential Position Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive neurological care , including inpatient consults and outpatient evaluations.

  • Participate in stroke call coverage remotely via secure video conference.

  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and residents in a multidisciplinary team environment.

  • Teach and mentor medical residents within the neurology department.

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with EMR and regulatory standards.

  • Contribute to departmental initiatives focused on quality improvement, education, and patient safety.

Qualifications

  • Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution.

  • Licensure & Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology; eligible for New York medical licensure.

  • Experience: Prior hospital-based or academic experience preferred; new graduates welcome to apply.

  • Visa: H1 visa candidates are welcome.
