Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated General Neurologist to join our growing medical team. This is a unique opportunity to build and shape a neurology service line while providing high-quality, accessible care to patients in the Jefferson City region.
Clinical Responsibilities:
As our General Neurologist, you will:
* Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of neurological conditions, including:
* Headaches and migraines
* Sleep disorders
* Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
* Epilepsy and seizure disorders
* Stroke and cerebrovascular conditions
* Movement disorders
* Neuropathies and other neurological diseases
* Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as:
* Electromyography (EMG)
* Electroencephalography (EEG)
* CT and MRI imaging
* Other specialized neurological assessments
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physical and occupational therapists, for coordinated, comprehensive care
* Provide consultation services to the emergency department and hospitalized patients

Qualifications:
* MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
* Completion of an accredited Neurology residency
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
* Missouri medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
* Strong communication, clinical, and interpersonal skills
