Assignment Overview

A reputable Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurologist to provide outpatient-only locum coverage in a well-established hospital-based neurology practice. This position offers weekday hours, no call, and a potential for ongoing/extended contract.

• Start Date: March 16, 2026

• Contract Length: 6 months (option to extend / ongoing need)

• Coverage Type: Scheduled – No Call

• Shift Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Setting: Outpatient Only (General Neurology)

• Shift Length: 8-hour days

Compensation

• Pay Rate: $240–$260 per hour

• Travel & Lodging: Provided (flight, rental car/mileage, hotel)

Practice Details

• Scope: General neurology; EEG/EMG testing available (EEG preferred, not required)

• Patients per Day: 16–18

• Support Staff: APP support on-site (dedicated to employed MD only)

• EMR: Epic

• Patient Population: Adults only

Requirements

• Board Certification: Neurology (BC/BE accepted)

• State License: Georgia (IMLC accepted)

• Certifications: ACLS and DEA required

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of outpatient neurology

• Charting Experience: Epic required

• Credentialing Timeframe: 90–120 days
