Neuro-Interventional Neurologist opening in Kansas

About the Opportunity
They are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neuro-Interventional Neurologist to join our growing, mission-driven neuroscience program. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in the diagnosis and endovascular treatment of complex neurovascular conditions such as stroke, aneurysms, AVMs, and other cerebrovascular disorders. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team using state-of-the-art technology in a tertiary care and comprehensive stroke center environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform diagnostic and therapeutic neuro-interventional procedures (e.g., mechanical thrombectomy, aneurysm coiling, AVM embolization)
* Collaborate with neurologists, neurosurgeons, radiologists, and critical care teams to provide comprehensive cerebrovascular care
* Participate in a 1:2 hospital call schedule for acute stroke and neurovascular emergencies (24-hour call, Monday 7 AM – Monday 7 AM)
* Interpret cerebral angiograms and advanced neuroimaging
* Contribute to protocol development and quality improvement initiatives in stroke and neurovascular care
* Educate residents, fellows, and medical students as applicable
* Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in compliance with hospital standards
* Lead outpatient stroke follow-up clinics on a weekly basis
* Uphold ’s mission of “Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ” through compassionate and ethical care
Qualifications
* MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
* Board certification or eligibility in Neurology
* Fellowship training in Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology
* Eligible for medical licensure
* Proficiency in performing neuro-interventional procedures
* Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
