Neurosurgery Opening in Pueblo, CO Colorado Springs 42m We are seeking a Board-Eligible or Board Certified Neurosurgeon to join an established, collegial team in a high-demand position replacing the only existing neurosurgeon. The ideal candidate is a team player focused on excellent patient care. * Schedule: 2 days in clinic, 2 days in OR, 1 flex day * Clinic: Average 8 to 12 patients per day, supported by 3-4 PAs * ER call: Approximately 7 days per month, with imaging review done remotely and minimal in-person requirements; surgeon rarely needs to go onsite * Floor calls managed by PAs * Call coverage: Likely one weekend per month * Practice setting: Inpatient, outpatient, and clinic * Facility Trauma Level: 3 * Position offers ability to build a strong elective spine practice in an underserved community * Team includes one Neurosurgeon and four experienced APPs * Clinic co-located with pain service and on-site X-ray * Neuro-navigation tools include Globus Robot and Stryker * Documentation System/EMR: EPIC On-Call: * 7 days ER call per month with remote imaging review, minimal in-person duties * Floor calls covered by PAs * Weekend Coverage: likely one weekend per month Candidate Requirements: * Board Certified or truly Board Eligible through the ABNS within 5 years of eligibility, working towards Board Certification within 4 years (new graduates through 2025 considered) * Must hold or be eligible to obtain a Colorado medical license * DEA license must be obtained prior to start) * Clean malpractice record Compensation and Benefits: * Salary range: $800,000 - $877,000 annually * Relocation package available for eligible candidates * Retirement plan options * Comprehensive health and welfare benefits (medical, vision, dental, life, disability) * Generous CME allowance * Paid malpractice coverage * Flexible spending accounts (health, dependent care) * PTO, sick time, paid holidays * Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligible employer * Short and long-term disability options * Employee Assistance Program (EAP) * Career advancement opportunities and employee discounts
