Join Our Neurology Team in Albany, NY!
We are seeking a full-time Inpatient Neurologist to join our robust hospital-based neurology team in Albany, NY, a city known for its rich history and vibrant cultural scene. This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a 400-bed Primary Stroke Center with a physician-led organization that offers a unique work-life balance with no outpatient responsibilities. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient neurological care with no outpatient or clinic responsibilities.
- Participate in a flexible work schedule: 7 on/7 off or 14 on/14 off.
- Manage a broad spectrum of neurological conditions including:
- Stroke
- Epilepsy
- Back pain
- Brain tumors
- Dementia
- Neuropathies
- Movement disorders
- Work closely with an integrated network of general and specialty neurologists for seamless patient referral and follow-up.
- Serve in a Primary Stroke Center-designated facility.
- Collaborate within a physician-led team that emphasizes quality, compassionate, and team-based care.
- Utilize hospital support staff including neurodiagnostic services and subspecialist consultation.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Neurology (required).
- Excellent clinical and communication skills.
- Clean malpractice and license history (highly preferred).
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) (required).
- New York license (or willingness to obtain) (required).
- DEA license (or willingness to obtain) (required).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified in Neurology (required).
- New York state license (or willing to obtain).
- DEA license (or willing to obtain).
