Locum Physician - Neurology Position in Jackson, MI

This Neurology clinic serves a diverse patient base, focusing on both adult and pediatric care in a collaborative environment. With a strong support staff and an onsite laboratory and imaging facilities, you will work alongside experienced neurologists to provide exceptional patient care. The clinic operates Monday to Friday, offering a well-structured work schedule for physicians.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive neurology care for adult and pediatric patients.
• Manage a daily patient load of 16-18 clinic visits.
• Conduct and interpret necessary diagnostic procedures including EMGs and Botulinum Toxin Administration.
• Collaborate with a team of physicians and medical staff to optimize patient outcomes.
• Utilize the Epic EMR system for efficient documentation and patient management.
• Participate in professional development and continuous medical education.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of residency training in Neurology.
• Board Certified in Neurology (required).
• Strong clinical skills and proficiency in neurological examinations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Licenses and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification in Neurology (required).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
• Active Michigan medical license (required).
• Must have a clean background (highly preferred).
