Job description
Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurologist to provide outpatient clinic coverage on a locum, locum-to-perm, or permanent basis. The role involves managing predominantly adult patients, with occasional pediatric cases, in a collaborative neurology clinic setting. Candidates should be comfortable performing EMG studies, administering botulinum toxin injections, and interpreting radiologic exams unofficially.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform EMG (Electromyogram) and botulinum toxin injections.
• Interpret radiologic exams (unofficial) to support patient diagnosis and care.
• Collaborate with a team of neurologists, nursing staff, and medical assistants to deliver quality care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR.
Qualifications
• Active Michigan medical license highly preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Clean background preferred.
• Experience with EMG, Botox administration, and radiologic exam interpretation.
Working Hours
Skills
• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage a patient load of 16–18 clinic patients per day.
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with Epic EMR.
