Neurology opening in southeast Missouri - H1b eligible * Located in *Cape Girardeau, MO* - 115 miles from St. Louis * Full-time, permanent opening * Hospital-employed * Outpatient only * Joining an established group with 5 Physicians (2 Neurohospitalist) and 3 APPs * Hospital has a Neurology floor and Neuro PIN unit * EMG/NCS, EEG, autonomic testing, and vestibular testing available * Ability to perform EMG/NCS is required * Work schedule: Mon - Fri, 8:00am - 4:30pm * New patients: 30 minute appointment. Established patients: 15 minute appointment * Average number of patients a day: 18 - 22 * *H1b visa sponsorship available!* * EMR: Epic Group offers a full spectrum of neurological services, including inpatient and outpatient care. Some conditions treated include: * Acute and chronic pain * Alzheimer's disease * Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis * Headaches * Multiple sclerosis * Neuromuscular disease * Parkinson's disease * Seizures In addition to the Neurosciences Institute Epilepsy Center, patients have access to specialized care through the ALS clinic, a Certified Level 3 Epilepsy Center, and Spasticity Clinic. The healthcare system is also a Certified Stroke Center.
