Overview
The Illinois Neurological Institute Epilepsy Center at OSF HealthCare is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Epileptologist to join our expanding, community-based, clinically focused epilepsy program.
As the only Level IV Epilepsy Center outside of Chicago in Illinois, we serve as a comprehensive regional referral center with a clear mission: to deliver patient-centered, multidisciplinary epilepsy care while continuing to grow into a premier comprehensive epilepsy center.

A Comprehensive, Patient-Centered Epilepsy Program
Our goal is to provide seamless, individualized care across the full spectrum of epilepsy treatment, from diagnosis through advanced surgical and neuromodulation therapies, within a collaborative, community-based academic environment.
Established Advanced Clinical Programs
- 6-bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU)
- Active Phase II SEEG program with ongoing stereo-EEG implantation and perioperative interpretation
- Dedicated Drug-Resistant Epilepsy Outpatient Program focused on early surgical and device evaluation
- Comprehensive Epilepsy Surgery Program with strong neurosurgical collaboration
- Established Neurostimulation Clinic offering:
- Responsive Neurostimulation (RNS)
- Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS)
- Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS)
- Advanced neuroimaging including MRI, fMRI, PET, and SPECT
- Dedicated nurse practitioner and experienced neurosurgical support
Integrated Clinical & Academic Environment
- Dedicated Neurocritical Care service
- Vibrant Adult Neurology Residency Program with active teaching opportunities
- Faculty appointment with the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria

- Full time, clinical base salary pay range for this position: $314,137-$450,000
- Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.

Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
- Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
- Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies). Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
- Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
- Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
