Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a locum Outpatient Neurology job in Jonesboro, GA!
Start Date: August 4, 2025
Contract Length: 13 weeks (through November 7, 2025)
Location: Georgia – outpatient clinic setting
Credentialing Timeframe: ~21 days
Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM
Practice Details:
-
General Neurology focus
-
Full-time need – 14 patients per day
-
Supportive clinic environment
-
Will consider Neurologists with EMG experience
Responsibilities:
-
Provide comprehensive outpatient care for patients with general neurological conditions
-
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of neurological disorders in a clinic-based setting
-
Interpret neurological studies (EMG, EEG, NCV) and radiologic exams
-
Perform common neurological procedures such as lumbar punctures and botulinum toxin injections
-
Collaborate with clinic staff and maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR system
Preferred Skills/Experience:
-
EEG, Evoked potentials, NCV
-
Lumbar punctures, Subdural taps
-
Radiologic interpretation
-
Brain death exams
-
Peripheral nerve blocks, Pain management
-
Sleep studies
Requirements:
-
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
-
Active GA medical license
-
ABLS, ACLS, and BLS
-
DEA required
-
Minimum of 1–2 years of experience
