Overview:
- Seeking a BC/BE neuroimmunologist to join their established practice.
- Applicants should be US fellowship trained in Neuroimmunology/Multiple Sclerosis
- 974-bed level 1 trauma center, regional leader for neurosciences, and the only comprehensive stroke center in eastern North Carolina
- Primarily outpatient with occasional inpatient responsibility associated with attending duties of residency program
- Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, schedule
- Periodic night phone call required
- Academic appointment with East Carolina University at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Professor
- ACGME neurology residency launching summer 2025
- On-site Infusion suite, In office lab, EEG, EMG and Nerve Conduction, ALS clinic
- Established clinical neuroscience team of 10 neurosurgeons, including dual-trained cerebrovascular specialists and 20 + neurologists including an interventional neurologist, 4 vascular neurologists, 4 neurointensivists and 13 subspecialty neurologists.
- The subspecialties include pediatric neurology, epilepsy, movement disorders, headache, neuromuscular, sleep medicine, intraoperative monitoring and neuro-oncology.
- There is also a large team of inpatient and outpatient Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
