Neurohospitalist Opportunity in Central Connecticut

Details:
- Join the Ayer Neuroscience Institute at Hartford HealthCare
- Inpatient consultative neurology service at two Joint Commission certified Primary Stroke Centers:
The first, a 156 beds location
The second which holds 414 beds
- Manage acute neurological cases across ED, floors, and ICUs
- 24 weeks per year inpatient coverage (7-day blocks, 8AM 8PM)
- Evening weekend coverage via teleneurology
- Stroke care experience required
- Opportunity to teach residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers
- Engage in QI projects, clinical research, public lectures, and educational sessions
- Participate in weekly Grand Rounds and monthly lecture series
Requirements:
- BE/BC in Neurology
- Eligible for Connecticut medical license
- Interest in academic involvement and patient experience initiatives
