Locum to Perm Physician Assistant Neurology in Lucas County, OH

We are hiring! Locum to Perm Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Neurology in Lucas County, OH!

Job details:

• Coverage: 8/4/2025 - Neuro coverage starting August 2025 through February/March 2026
• Schedule: 6p-6a (12 hr shift - nights) - 7 on 7 off or 4, 12 hr shifts one week, followed by 3, 12 hrs next week
• Patient census: Average Number of Hospital-Based Patients Per Locum Per Day: avg census in Neuro ICU is 10pts, Neurosurgery consults avg 5/night
• Coverage cases: Adult - 100%
• 2 neuro intensivists in group and they will be available by phone at nights
• 3Advanced Practice Providers in Group
• Trauma Level/Designation: level 1 trauma, comprehensive stroke
• EMR: EPIC

Job Requirements:

• Board Certified/Board Eligible (PA or CNP licensed in Ohio)
• Active OH license (willing to accept those who will obtain)
• BLS, ACLS
• ENLS
• Must be comfortable covering a neuro ICU in a level 1 trauma center. Experience working with stroke patients
• APC that can cover a level 1 trauma center neuro ICU (16 beds) at night and cover neurosurgical consults at night
