Full-time, permanent position
Position Overview
Sseeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Neurohospitalist to join a well-established neurology group in Coeur d'Alene, ID. This hospital-employed position is ideal for candidates with experience in vascular neurology or stroke care. The call coverage model follows a 24/7, 7 on/off rotation, with significant support from a large Hospital Medicine service to minimize overnight calls.
Position Highlights
24/7 call coverage with a 7 on/off rotation
Large Hospital Medicine service handles patient admissions, minimizing overnight calls
Reasonable daily working census to ensure patient-centered care
Experience in general neurology, stroke, and neurocritical care at an Idaho TSE level 2 designated stroke center
Working towards DNV Primary Stroke Center designation in 2025
Advanced Practice Professional support available
Level 3 Epilepsy Center offering EEG reading coverage
Comprehensive outpatient neurology practice to assist with follow-up care
