Job Title: Permanent Physician - Neurology
Join a well-established MS Headache practice in Albany, NY! You will become part of a supportive outpatient team dedicated to providing high-quality care in Headache Medicine. Collaborate closely with a large network of internal specialists and enjoy a robust primary care connection. This hospital-employed position offers a fulfilling work-life balance with a Monday-Friday schedule and only 1:4 call, no weekends required!
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional patient care in an outpatient setting specializing in MS & Headache Medicine.
- Collaborate closely with internal specialists and the primary care network.
- Participate in a physician-led and governed practice with strong support staff.
- Manage patient referrals within a robust network.
- Participate in on-call rotation (1:4 call 8:00 am-9:00 pm).
Qualifications:
- Fellowship-trained in Headache Medicine.
- Board Certified in Neurology.
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Headache Medicine.
- New York medical license (or willing to obtain).
- DEA license (or willing to obtain).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified in Neurology - REQUIRED
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Headache Medicine - REQUIRED
- Fellowship training in Headache (to be completed prior to start) - REQUIRED
- NY license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
- DEA (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
