A leading healthcare system in the Overland Park and Kansas City metro area is seeking a Neurohospitalist to join a growing inpatient neurology program. This role offers a steady inpatient volume, strong clinical support, and a balanced schedule that allows you to enjoy life both inside and outside the hospital.
Practice Overview
- Work alongside five neurologists and one neurohospitalist
- Average daily census of 5 to 7 new patients and 6 to 7 follow-ups
- On-site neurosurgery and nurse practitioner support
- Provide ED call coverage and perform in-hospital EEG reads
- Consult and round on neurological inpatients
- No neurology IR coverage required
Schedule
- Consistent 7 on and 7 off schedule totaling 26 weeks per year
- Optional extra shifts available for increased earnings
Compensation & Benefits
- Generous, shift-based compensation with 182 guaranteed shifts per year

Candidate Profile
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Neurology
- Eligible for Kansas medical licensure
- Comfortable with inpatient neurology, ED consults, and EEG interpretation
- Team-oriented clinician who values collaborative care
