Neurology in Southwestern Wyoming


This neurology opportunity in Southwestern Wyoming offers immediate stability, manageable volume, and the chance to serve as the region's sole neurologist. You'll inherit a well-established outpatient practice with consistent referrals, strong hospital support, and a schedule built for long-term balance.


Practice Details

  • Hospital-employed neurology role within a 99-bed, not-for-profit acute care hospital
  • Take over an established outpatient panel of approximately 1,600 active patients
  • Play a central role in delivering neurology care across SW Wyoming, with regional referrals extending into Eastern Utah and Northern Colorado
  • Adult-focused practice with common cases including migraine, neuropathy, cognitive decline, tremor, and MS
  • In-office EMG and EEG using Natus equipment with Cerner EMR and Dragon dictation

Schedule


  • Monday through Friday schedule with half days on Fridays
  • Average volume of 8-12 patients per full day and 4-6 on half days
  • Consistent referral flow of 15-25 new patients per week
  • No formal call responsibilities; consults only as needed

Compensation & Benefits


  • Base salary of $340,000 plus $25,000 sign-on and $10,000 relocation assistance
  • Up to $90,000 in student loan repayment over three years
  • Six weeks of PTO, CME time and allowance, and malpractice with tail
  • Full health benefits and 401(k) with 7% employer match

Candidate Requirements


  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Neurology
  • Comfortable managing broad-spectrum general neurology
  • Interest in outpatient-focused practice with consultative inpatient involvement
