We have an opportunity for a Telehealth Behavioral or Cognitive trained Neurology Physician to join our team in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Your primary role is to remotely diagnose and treat patients with neurological conditions impacting behavior, cognition, and mental processes. Utilizing telemedicine platforms, you'll assess individuals with disorders such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, and others affecting cognitive function and behavior. Your responsibilities include conducting virtual consultations, interpreting patient history and symptoms, performing cognitive evaluations, and recommending treatment plans to manage symptoms and enhance quality of life. Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and providing remote support and guidance to patients and their families are integral aspects of this role.

Requirements:

  • MD or DO from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Neurology with specialized training or experience in Behavioral or Cognitive Neurology.
  • Valid medical license to practice in New Mexico.
  • Experience in telemedicine or willingness to undergo training in telehealth platforms and practices.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively conduct remote consultations and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Proficiency in utilizing telemedicine technologies and electronic health records systems.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in telehealth practice.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage virtual clinic schedules and patient appointments.
