Job Title: TeleNeurologist
Shift Details:
- Schedule: Monday to Sunday, 12-hour shifts
- On-site/Tele/Hybrid: Tele
- Full-time opportunities: Willing to fill the schedule with both part-time and sporadic coverage.
Work Details:
- Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: 24/7 coverage is needed, broken into 2 12-hour blocks to fill both day and night shifts.
- Patients per Day:
- Day shift: 9-11 patients, call would be for this site only
- Night shift: 3-5 patients; ideally credentialed to take calls for other sites (likely in NE, IA, WA, or CA) to make up for low volumes.
- TeleNeurology Goal: Respond by phone within 5-10 minutes, evaluate, and consult within 20 minutes for all potential CVA/TPA/TNK patients.
- TeleStroke Technology: Caregility Carts
- EMR: Epic
- Hospital Bed Size: To be determined based on the hospital/site of Atriums being covered.
- Stroke Nurse: A dedicated Stroke Nurse will log in ahead to ensure the cart is in the right spot, the tech is working, etc.
- Case/Procedure Experience: Specializing in everything Neuro; stroke, seizure, TBI
