Bon Secours Neurology Clinic at Memorial Regional Medical Center is looking for outpatient Neurology coverage, starting 8/1/2024!

Dates of coverage:

• 8/1/2024 - TBD

Job Details :

• Practice Setting: Office / Ambulatory Clinic

• Reason for Coverage: Support access for community - physician retiring

• Schedule: 8am -5pm M-F; NO CALL

• 100% Outpatient coverage

• Average Number of Office/Clinic Patients Per Locum Per Day: 12-16

• Other Neurologists are present during assignment

• 11 physicians in group, 10 APP's in group

• Labs onsite

• Ancillary staff: 1 RN, 4 LPN, 1 MA

• Office Equipment: EMG, Doppler

• EMR: Epic

Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 120 DAYS

Travel Reimbursement Information:

• ~$150/night lodging cap

• Standard/economy bookings only

Submission Requirements

• Board Certified - REQUIRED

• Active VA license - HIGHLY Preferred, must be obtained by time of credentialing

• BLS/ACLS Certified - REQUIRED

• FULL TIME AVAILABILITY STARTING 8/1/2024 - REQUIRED

• Flu vaccine - REQUIRED at time of credentialing

• Covid Vaccine - Highly preferred

Office hours & appointments
Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Patients are seen by appointment. Please contact us 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel your appointment.

Emergencies
Our physicians are available to you 24 hours a day. After hours you will be transferred to our on-call physician service. If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 911.
Referrals
Having a primary care physician is an important first step to ensure an effective and coordinated approach to your overall health care. Whether your primary care physician has referred you to our office or you are coming independently, it is important that before your first visit you send our office all relevant medical records and recent x-rays, MRI and CT scans.

Prescription Refills
For your convenience, refill requests for medications other than controlled drugs may be requested through your pharmacy, and your pharmacy will submit the request to us. Medication refill requests should be made during normal business hours. We request 48 hours to process refill requests.
Please remember that in most situations, appropriate medical care requires a patient examination before a prescription can be filled.
