**Neurologist opening in Wisconsin** - Located in Eau Claire, WI - 90 Miles to Minneapolis, MN The Department of Neurology is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologist with expertise in Multiple Sclerosis and Clinical Neuroimmunology to join an established and growing practice in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. We are actively recruiting a MS/neuroimmunologist who will thrive within the culture and is passionate about clinical neurology and delivering care to patients in a highly integrated system. Candidates with any subspecialty interest will be considered. Ideal candidates will be superb clinicians fellowship trained in multiple sclerosis/autoimmune neurology or equivalent. In addition to clinical care, we are seeking colleagues motivated to develop careers including education, quality improvement, and research in collaboration with the department and our relationship our Rochester location and the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. The Eau Claire practice currently has seven neurologists with fellowship-trained expertise in cerebrovascular neurology, movement disorders, sleep, and epilepsy. We also have three advanced practice providers specializing in headache, stroke, and concussion. All have academic appointments. A 210-bed hospital and extensive outpatient practice providing comprehensive subspecialty medical and surgical care. Our facility maintains an EMG Laboratory Accreditation with Exemplary status from the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine (AANEM). The hospital is a designated primary stroke center, with a dedicated RN stroke coordinator. The facility includes a certified EEG lab along with NAEC Level 3 certified epilepsy monitoring unit. License or Certification: - Board Eligible/Board Certified in Neurology - Fellowship trained in Multiple Sclerosis, Clinical Neuroimmunology, or the equivalent. Eau Claire, with a metro area of 163,000 is home to the 11,000 students at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. Strong schools, low crime rate and a reasonable cost of living may be expected.
