We are seeking a creative Neurologist to permanently join our team of Internists, specialists, and other medical staff. Due to increasing demands of complex, chronic, and high-risk patient panels, a Neurologist is needed to help provide quality care to the community of Gillette.
Job Responsibilities
· Examine patients to obtain information about functional status of areas, such as vision, physical strength, coordination, reflexes, sensations, language skills, cognitive abilities, and mental status.
· Perform or interpret the outcomes of procedures or diagnostic tests, such as lumbar punctures, electroencephalography, electromyography, and nerve conduction velocity tests.
· Order or interpret results of laboratory analysis of patients' blood or cerebrospinal fluid.
· Diagnose neurological conditions based on interpretation of examination findings, histories, or test results.
Qualifications
· Accreditation with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN), or the ability to obtain;
· Completion of a residency program in Neurology at point of hire;
· Ability to obtain a valid medical license to practice Neurology in Wyoming, or ability to obtain;
· Active DEA license, or ability to obtain
