Job Responsibilities
thriving Comprehensive Stroke Center. You will have the opportunity to join a collegial group of neuro-hospitalists and stroke providers. This is an inpatient opportunity. Our stroke alert team collaborates
with local EMS to provide patients with quick access to our advanced diagnostic and treatment technology.
Medical Directorship may be available for a strong candidate.
WA licensed providers only:
1 stroke activation every 24 hours
2-3 new consults a day
Daily census of 5-10, half of which are ICU
6-8 phone calls per day during working hours.
No night coverage.
Covers nFSED, DH, DHED, VH, VHED but does not go to VH
Should be able to read CT, MRI with perfusion studies.
EEG ability helpful but not mandatory

Fellowship: Preferred

This is 100% inpatient. Shifts are 5am-5pm. We ask them to be within 20 minutes as we don’t require onsite right at 5am but there may be something that comes in. Our others go onsite typically around 8am. There is no on call at night.
