About the Opportunity

  • New Epilepsy Monitoring Unit
  • Neurology Residency and 7 other ACGME residency programs

  • 70-90% Clinical Teaching/ 10-30% Didactic
  • Own patient panel, Precept + Protected Time
  • TeleStroke with aspirations for establishing a Comprehensive Stroke Center
  • Some general neurology patients as practice ramps
  • Core faculty positions and academic appointments available

New program has joined 7 existing ACGME residency programs

355 Bed Acute Care Hospital

70-90% Clinical Teaching/ 10-30% Didactic

Qualifications

Neurology Residency
Fellowships welcome
In addition to general neurology, we are looking for fellowship trained neurologists in:

Epileptology

Clinical Neurophysiology

Neuro-Hospitalist

Neuroimmunology

Pediatric Neurology

Working Hours

Outpatient clinic with some call

Skills

Some skills and responsibilities are below:
Diagnose and treat various neurological conditions
Consult with patients on aftercare and long-term health management strategies
Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatments or medication as needed
Prescribe treatments or medication best suited to improve the patient’s condition
70-90% Clinical Teaching/ 10-30% Didactic
Order tests and interpret results in order to determine the best treatment options
