Medical Search International is seeking: Neurologist/Neuro-hospitalist

Shift Details:
M – Sun 800am – 200pm

Work Details:
· Support staff: 1 physician
· Patients per day: 4 new consults/day, census 10-20/day
· Department Description: Inpatient neurology obligations: Consultative neurology services in the ED, inpatient units, and the ICU.
Non-admitting services. Evaluate and treat acute care neurology patients, order, and follow-up appropriate studies, and offer recommendations for primary services in patient management. Offer timely and relevant sign-out at handoff of service.
Stroke code coverage during daytime hours.
Work with the transfer center to triage appropriate patients to DRAH. APP support for neurology patients is available during the weekdays.

Requirements:
· Board Certification: Yes
· License required: Yes
· DEA: Yes
· Certifications required: ABPN Neurology BC/BE. Vaccination requirement: at least one original covid shot
· Minimum experience required: at least 2 years
