We are seeking a board certified or board eligible Neurologist to join a large multispecialty group in the Bronx. This is primarily an outpatient opportunity with flexible scheduling options and possible phone call responsibilities.

J1 Waiver, CONRAD 30, and H1B visa sponsorship available. Fellows and practicing physicians are welcome to apply.

Position Highlights

If working fewer than 20 hours per week, provider must carry their own malpractice insurance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with neurological disorders

• Perform comprehensive neurological examinations

• Order and interpret diagnostic studies including MRI, CT, EEG, EMG, and laboratory testing

• Diagnose conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, neuropathy, multiple sclerosis, movement disorders, headaches, and cognitive disorders

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

• Prescribe and manage medications and therapies

• Coordinate supportive care services and specialty referrals

• Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment plans, and home care instructions

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record

• Collaborate with primary care physicians and other specialists

Qualifications

• MD or DO

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology

• Completion of an accredited Neurology residency program

• Active New York State medical license (or ability to obtain)

• Current DEA registration

• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Bilingual Spanish is a plus
